What to Expect at the Airport
After landing in Thailand with a completed TDAC:
- Proceed to the immigration hall as usual
- Have your TDAC QR code ready on your phone screen
- Present passport + TDAC QR code to the immigration officer
- Officer scans or verifies your TDAC digitally
- Entry stamp is applied as normal
TDAC at Check-In Before Departure
Some airlines check TDAC compliance at the departure check-in counter in your origin country — before you even board the plane. This is similar to how they check visa requirements.
Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)
Suvarnabhumi is Thailand's busiest international airport and handles the majority of long-haul international flights. The immigration process at Suvarnabhumi includes TDAC verification at immigration booths. Have your QR code ready before entering the immigration hall to reduce processing time during peak hours.
Don Mueang Airport (DMK)
Don Mueang is Bangkok's second airport, primarily used by budget carriers. TDAC requirements are the same as Suvarnabhumi. The immigration process is generally faster due to lower passenger volume in the international terminal.
